The airport operator claims WorldPoints for Heathrow Staff will be the UK's biggest employee-reward scheme.

Heathrow staff will be issued a WorldPoints card, and will gain one point for every £1 spent in the airport.

Employees can redeem points online and will receive £5 vouchers. Staff may also exchange points for frequent-flyer miles with selected airlines.

'Many Heathrow staff choose to shop at the airport in much the same way they would the high street, but with the bonus of tax-free prices,' said loyalty and CRM manager, Claire Burley.

'Now staff can enjoy an even better deal by collecting WorldPoints for every purchase and take advantage of the exclusive offers available to airport ID holders only.'
