Motorola's Rachael Ward appointed at Palm after Simon Lloyd departs
LONDON - Simon Lloyd, marketing director EMEA at Palm, has left the business after less than a year in the role without a job to go to.
The smartphone company is understood not to have replaced Lloyd directly but has appointed former Motorola marketer Rachael Ward to head up marketing.
Lloyd was previously commercial director at 118 118, and former head of UK marketing at Nokia.

Earlier this year Lloyd appointed Haygarth as the lead agency on its £3m European below-the-line account as it looks to win share from rivals BlackBerry and Nokia.
