LONDON - Database giant Acxiom has appointed Clark M Kokich, chairman of digital agency Razorfish, to its board of directors.

It has also hired Jerry D Gramaglia, a former P&G, Nestle and PepsiCo marketer and latterly president and chief marketing officer of E-Trade Group, the US electronic financial services firm, for its board of directors.

In his early career, Kokich spent 12 years in traditional advertising, including the position of executive vice president / managing director for Cole & Weber, a division of Ogilvy & Mather.

"Both Mr. Gramaglia and Mr. Kokich bring a wealth of marketing experience to the board, specifically in the online arena," said non-executive Chairman of the Board Michael Durham.

John Meyer, CEO and President, added: "Each has in-depth knowledge and experiences in marketing that will be strong assets for our company. We are pleased to have them join the board and look forward to working with them."
