LONDON - Cricket website ESPNcricinfo has created a new version of its mobile website that allows users to follow live commentary of games, check complete scorecards and read match bulletins all on the same page.

The commentary can be filtered by events like wickets, fours and sixes, which lets users revisit key moments in the match, while the live scorecard is set to automatically refresh, making it easy to follow any game on the go.

ESPNCricinfo's new mobile site also has a refreshed look, improved navigation and additional features such as player and results searches.

Users can also access a comprehensive list of records across Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20s, and can read the latest opinion features by ESPNcricinfo's experts.

Anil Nair, director of mobile at ESPN EMEA, said: "Our aim has been to create a seamless user experience between the website and the mobile version, so that it feels familiar and friendly.

"We have a host of new features on our new site including personalised country pages that allow fans direct access to the teams they support, an enhanced live game experience and a unique player search module."

The updated mobile site will have the capability to run sponsorship campaigns with banners, text links and customised microsites, banner campaigns with click to text and click to call features, and section sponsorships of key areas like the live score and news sections.

All campaigns can be geo-targeted with daily analytics and reports.

The mobile site relaunch follows the relaunch of the main Cricinfo website in June.
