LONDON - The NSPCC has launched an interactive version of its Children's Friend supporter magazine with the aims, it says, of saving funds and "increasing engagement with the cause".

The magazine - www.childrensfriend.org.uk - has been created by RAPP, using the Ceros platform, and is being emailed to 250,000 existing supporters twice a year.

It is also being mailed to offline supporters as a hard copy magazine with a personalised link to subscribe to the online version for future editions.

The online version enables recipients to both see and hear much of the magazine's content which including news, campaign updates, interviews and case studies.

The current issue has an interview with Director of Fundraising, Giles Pegram, the story of how the NSPCC helped Lucy, a child abused by a family friend as well as an interactive interview with Andy, a counsellor who works on the NSPCC Helpline.

Charley Day, senior fundraiser at the NSPCC, said: "Actually seeing and hearing how supporters' donations are making a difference is critical and Children's Friend is an important way of highlighting the amazing work they are helping to support - work that helps protect children every day".
