At this year's Clinton Global Initiative in New York, the FMCG company announced that it is looking to place its Sustainable Innovation Products in 30m US homes by the end of 2010.
P&G has already committed to reaching $50bn in sales of sustainable products between 2007 and 2012.
As part of its commitments, the company is rolling out a new design for its Pampers brand, with nappies 20% slimmer than before.
P&G has also committed to provide 4bn litres of clean drinking water in the developing world by 2012 through the Children's Safe Drinking Water programme.
