The New Statesman is looking for a new editor and deputy editor following the decision by Ian Hargreaves and Jane Taylor to leave the title. In the two years since Hargreaves took over editorship circulation has risen by a third to 25,000. He plans to work as a regular presenter for Radio 4’s Analysis programme and take up a post as Professor of Journalism at Cardiff University.
