Omnicom Group UK revenues down as global profits slide
LONDON - Omnicom Group, the marketing giant behind Omnicom Media Group, home to PHD Network and OMD Worldwide, posted a 10.3% decline in UK revenues in Q3.
Total Omnicom Group UK revenues, encompassing all operations, came in at $263m in Q3, down 10.3% year on year in organic terms, which excludes currency fluctuations and acquisitions.
Omnicom Group also houses several ad agencies, such as BBDO and DDB as well as PR agencies such as Porter Novelli.

Omnicom Group UK revenues accounted for 9.3% of Omnicom Group worldwide revenues in Q3, compared with 52.6% from its US operations. Omnicom Group did not break out revenues for its individual companies.
Worldwide, Omnicom Group's pre-tax profits dropped by 22.5% in Q3 to $165.6m. Worldwide revenue decreased 14.4% to $2.8bn in Q3.
By discipline, Omnicom Group said global revenues from its advertising operations, which encompass its media agencies within Omnicom Media Group and various creative shops, fell 8.4% on an organic basis to $1.2bn.
By comparison, global revenues from its PR operations declined 11.3% to $266m year on year in Q3.
