Coca-Cola shortlists agencies for corporate social responsibility task
LONDON - Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has shortlisted three agencies for an ad task highlighting its efforts in corporate social responsibility.
CCE manufactures and distributes more than 80 different Coca-Cola products and has asked VCCP, WCRS and Publicis to pitch for the account.
Advertising, which will run in Coca-Cola's key European countries including the UK, will aim to inform audiences about CCE's achievements in corporate social responsibility.
CCE handles marketing responsibilities for a number of Coca-Cola soft drinks, including Capri-Sun. In September it kicked off a review to find an agency to handle its 5 Alive account in the UK. Earlier this month it appointed VCCP to handle the activity, with the agency also the incumbent on the Capri-Sun account.

With luck, the consumer might learn of some exciting news of more tangible, end-benefit \(to pocket as well as planet) aspects too. CSR can be a tad lacking in audience excitement otherwise.
