Frontline names Straetmans as new managing director

LONDON - Frontline Limited, the magazine distribution company, has appointed Frank Straetmans as managing director.

Frontline, owned by BBC Worldwide, Bauer Media and Media Week owner, Haymarket Media Group, was formed in June 1986. Based in Peterborough, the company sells and distributes more than 160 magazines.

Straetmans was formerly supply chain director at magazine wholesaler, Dawsons News.

He replaces Matthew Mycock, who left after three and a half years with the business in September. Mycock joined Frontline in 2006 from Levi Strauss UK & Ireland, where he was general manager.

Catherine Bland, Frontline's finance director, has been running the company as acting managing director in the interim.
