I-Level creates new apps and gaming role

LONDON - I-Level has promoted account director Oliver Newton to the newly created role of head of emerging platforms.

The agency said the new role, which will see Newton reporting to i-level managing director Mark Creighton, is in response to the evolution of gaming, apps and other platforms. It runs across the agency.

Newton joined i-level in 2005 as account manager and has been account director for the past two years. He retains responsibilities as account director on WWF and LoveFilm.

Speaking about the new role Mark Creighton, i-level managing director said: "With the fast moving environment of platforms, apps, gaming and various tools – and consumer activity within these platforms – we feel that by formalising this position, we can offer our clients a key resource that will help and inform their decisions on marketing activation.

"This is one of the initiatives we are undertaking as part of our strategic development of i-level in order to provide a more robust communications offering to our clients in 2010."
