Metro and Bauer Media partner for Pizza Hut promotion

LONDON - Metro has linked up with Bauer Media for the first time to promote Pizza Hut's £10 Christmas meal deal.

The partnership, running from 30 November until 18 December, will include a competition to win a trip for four to Sydney and will be featured in the newspaper and on part of Bauer Media's radio network.

The activity, planned by Starcom, will ask readers of Metro and listeners of The Kiss Network to show how they are having a Christmas with a twist. Readers and listeners will be invited to upload a photo on a microsite hosted by Metro.co.uk, showing them having a Christmas with a difference.

Photos submitted will also be used in ads running in Metro and on Metro.co.uk.

Users of the microsite will be encouraged to send links to their friends, view the Pizza Hut Christmas menu, book a table and vote for their favourite picture.

After voting closes on 17 December, a montage of the photos submitted and a profile of the winner with a message from Pizza Hut will run in Metro on 18 December.
