Unilever's Richard Brooke in epic bike ride for NABS
LONDON - Members of the advertising and communications industry, including Unilever's Richard Brooke and Peal & Dean's Mike Hope-Milne, are planning to ride from Land's End to John O'Groats in a bid to raise money for NABS.
The team of six will attempt to complete the ‘end to end' journey in ten days, travelling an average of one hundred miles a day and climbing an estimated 45,000ft up hills. The normal time span for the trip is 14 days.
The group also includes Richard Bon and Darren MacKay from Clear Channel, Robbie Macintosh from John Ayling and Tom Scally from Reuters and they leave Land's End in Cornwall on 27 May.
They have set up a page on donation site Just Giving for people wanting to donate to their endeavour and their trip can be followed on Twitter,
