Avon rapped by watchdog for free mobile phone promo
LONDON - Avon Cosmetics has been rapped by the advertising watchdog for a promotion in which it offered a free Orange pay-as-you-go mobile phone then failed to assess demand, echoing the Hoover free flights debacle 12 years ago.
