GCI names New York president
NEW YORK: GCI Group today announced that Jennifer Cohan, a former senior executive with Cohn & Wolfe, has been appointed president of GCI New York.
She will direct the firm's operations there, and oversee office-wide business development and marketing.
Cohan replaces Tom Reno, who left GCI in late March to become GM at Hill & Knowlton.
Cohan spent more than 10 years at C&W, most recently as deputy managing director in the firm's London office. She also served as C&W's new business director and VP for its New York consumer practice.
She could not immediately be reached for comment.
"Jennifer's experience managing a European office will be an asset to GCI as we look to continue growing business outside of the North American network," Bob Feldman, CEO of GCI, said in the release.
New York-based GCI is owned by Grey Global.
