Guardian in possible £2bn joint bid for Emap
LONDON - Guardian Media Group is understood to be in talks with private equity firm Apax Partners about launching a £2bn joint bid for beleaguered publisher Emap. The news has pushed Emap's share price up by more than 5% at one point to 884p.
