CBS to acquire CNET Networks for $1.8bn

NEW YORK - CBS Corporation is to acquire CNET Networks, which owns websites such as CNET, ZDNet, GameSpot.com, TV.com, for $1.8bn, which will propel the broadcaster to the 10th most popular US website.
