Radio spend up in Q1 but future looks grim

LONDON - Radio ad spend in Q1 was at its highest for three years, according to RadioCentre data. However, at least one major radio group will suffer a double-digit year-on-year decline in ad revenue in April, with second-quarter ad spend expected to be down by as much as 3%.
