The Week: City News - Aegis profits up for half year
Aegis has reported a rise in underlying pre-tax profit of 15.4 per cent to £56.2 million for the first half of 2008, but warned of a slowdown in the advertising market, particularly in the UK and US. The group saw organic revenue growth of 8.2 per cent and revenues up 21.8 per cent to £607.6 million over the period.
