Microsoft and Google to launch smartphone app stores
BARCELONA - Microsoft is to rival Apple's popular mobile App Store with a similar service of its own, called Windows Marketplace, which will be unveiled today at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Google's Android Market will sell open platform apps for the G1 phone
