Peaches Geldof goes gothic for Agent Provocateur

LONDON - Peaches Geldof has become the latest famous face to feature in an Agent Provocateur ad, appearing in a gothic orgy scene that kicks off a new witch-themed print and digital campaign.

The "Season of the Witch" ad shows a flame-haired high priestess presiding over a disrobed virgin in a sacrificial ceremonial scene. Her raven-haired witches crowd around while semi-disrobed soldiers lie helplessly at their feet.

Geldof appears in the ad for the autumn/winter collection posing with her friend Daisy Lowe and dressed as a priestess in suspenders.

The ad was shot by fashion photographer Tim Bret Day in the style of a classic painting with inspiration taken from Paul de la Roche's Execution of Lady Gray mixed with the Massacre of the Innocents by Peter Paul Rubens.

The second part of the campaign, which launches in November, will feature model Alice Dellal swinging from a chandelier and Pixie Geldof and Helena Christensen in a food fight.

The first of the posters appears in this month's GQ magazine along with a "mystifying virtual challenge". Each season a new riddle will appear on the campaign poster, the clues to which must be found within the pictures.

Once readers have solved the riddle they can enter the word on the dedicated page of Agent Provocateur's website for the chance to be invited to the next stage.

One person who solves all four riddles will receive a "spectacular treasure".

Peaches Geldof?!!! I would have thought that Agent Provocateur's audience would hate to be associated with a talentless celeb wannabe? Still, if they can shut the PR agency up \(I assume this was their bright idea) they still might be able to keep it quiet, as I certainly can't tell which one she is.

Isn't she in the bottom right-hand corner \(not lying down and not in a top hat)?

I'm kind of surprised. I guess she almost had an overdose so naturally they were thinking "our kind of girl".

What were they thinking???? Peaches makes me cringe everytime she opens her stupid mouth. She's a naive little brat. Maggie is not your typical beauty but at least she is talented and has some class. Who wants to emulate Peaches in the bedroom?? And who would spend a fortune on AP gear just to do so???

It's the sheer paucity of her selection that is disappointing. I think it damages the brand.
