BT Vision to launch NBC Universal movie service

LONDON - BT Vision will launch NBC Universal-operated VoD movie service PictureBox on 5 May, beefing up its on-demand offering with a selection of 28 films.
The PictureBox service will provide a broad selection of current and library feature films from NBC Universal to BT Vision customers, at a cost of £5 a month.
Many PictureBox films will not yet have been seen on free-to-air TV in the UK.

PictureBox complements existing BT Vision services such as sports, music and kids offerings.
Belinda Menendez, president, NBC Universal International Television Distribution, said PictureBox has proved itself to be a powerful brand for NBC Universal and that it was working on launching the service across Europe, Asia and Latin America.
