LONDON - The MCC is launching an official Lord's magazine, published by Cedar, at the England vs New Zealand test match next week.

The launch issue of The Annual will detail memorable moments in the history of Lord's and will feature famous cricketers' memories of famous cricket ground.

It is produced by customer publishing agency Cedar and its initial print run will be 50,000 copies.

England cricketers Ryan Sidebottom, James Anderson, Katherine Brunt and Tim Ambrose all reminisce about their first visit to Lord's in the launch issue of the magazine.

Sam Upton, former editor of Army magazine and cricket magazine 446, has been appointed editor of The Annual, which runs to 100 pages and will be published annually.

The magazine costs £5 and will be made available at all Lord's matches, including Middlesex games, Twenty20 contests and the Friends Provident Trophy Final. It is also available online.

Keith Bradshaw, secretary and chief executive of the MCC, said: "The launch of The Annual is an exciting development for MCC and the many cricket fans that visit Lord’s each year; we are sure it will enhance the fans’ experience of the ground and all the other facilities."
