Limber up, adlanders

The play's the thing in adland at the moment. The Tabard Theatre in Chiswick is running a production with an ad theme.

The play is being billed as a "hilarious" new comedy but, as it's set in a media agency, we'll reserve judgment. It revolves around the ups and downs of pitching and is aptly called Pitch Perfect. It's sponsored by the TV Dragon Theo Paphitis - gambling with his kids' inheritance again.

In more dramatic news, those thespians down at Creature London are putting on a Eugene O'Neill production called The Hairy Ape at the Southwark Playhouse. At least it offers a break from the theme of making ads. It's running from mid-May and tickets go on sale this week.
