Lisa Rokny, head of digital creative and development at CBS Outdoor, has been appointed the first marketing director at ad agency HMDG. Rokny will report to agency partner Greg Grimmer.  (Campaign)

Jo Boyd, former global account director on Carlsberg at Publicis Groupe, has been appointed as the new managing director of Anthem Worldwide. Boyd will report to Hans Muysson, managing director of Anthem Europe, and Ray Kieser, the European group managing director of Anthem and parent company, Schawk. (Campaign)



Google has hired Getjar's chief marketing officer Patrick Mork to become its first marketing director for mobile apps. Mork has been at Getjar, the independent mobile app store, for the past three years. (Marketing)

Npower marketing director Kevin Peake has left his position at the energy company after a restructure of its operations. It is understood Peake has been offered a new role at Npower. (Marketing)

PayPal marketing director Mark Hodson has left his role after more than five years at the e-commerce brand. The online payments service is seeking a replacement. Commercial director Rich Ambrose will cover the role in the interim. (Marketing)

Sainsbury's has hired MasterCard executive and former MFI marketer Mark Horgan as its marketing director, although he may not join for up to six months. Horgan will join Sainsbury's operating board and will report to group commercial director Mike Coupe. (Marketing)



UTV Media, the owner of national radio station TalkSport and Sport magazine, has appointed Future Publishing's digital commercial director Kurt Edwards as commercial director of its ad sales division UTV Pitch. He will report to Adam Bullock, managing director of UTV Pitch. (Media Week)

Andy Carter, Smooth Radio's managing director, has been promoted to the position of group managing director of GMG Radio, following the departure of Billy Anderson. Carter will work alongside group programme director John Simons and group commercial director Jonathan Gillespie. (Media Week)

UKTV has poached ITV controller of digital channels Emma Tennant for the position of controller, replacing Matthew Littleford who left the broadcaster in March. Tennant will have full editorial control of UKTV's 10 TV channels and its multiplatform offerings. (Media Week)
