Campaign is pleased to clarify that Omnicom Media Group is on the government media buying shortlist and did not apply late to any part of the pitch process, handled by the Crown Commercial Service.
In an article on 25 July we suggested Omnicom, home to OMD and PHD, had made a "surprise late bid" for the £140 million account.
We are happy to clarify the matter acknowledging that both the CCS and Omnicom followed due process throughout.
Omnicom is on a shortlist that includes WPP incumbent M4C, Dentsu Aegis Media and ZenithOptimedia. The result is tabled to be made public in October.
