Draft FCB unveils management with Boschetto as president
LONDON - Draft FCB has unveiled its management and organisational structure, confirming Laurence Boschetto as president and chief operating officer, joining Howard Draft and Jonathan Harries in managing the agency's global network.
Boschetto has been unofficially acting as president and chief operating officer of the Interpublic-owned agency since the start of the integration process between Draft and FCB. He now officially joins Howard Draft, chairman and chief executive, and Jonathan Harries, global chief creative officer, in running the agency.
Bob Oates, current chief financial officer at Foote Cone & Belding Worldwide, will also take on the same role at Draft FCB.
Harries, Boschetto and Oates will report directly to Draft, as will Wally Petersen, most recently the executive vice-president and chief communication officer at Draft who has taken on the same role at the merged agency.
Reporting to Harries will be the chief creative officers from Latin America, the US and Canada, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. The creative heads will be named at a later date for non-US markets.
In addition, Mark Modesto, co-president of FCB Chicago, is the named president of Draft FCB Chicago. Tom O'Keefe, EVP and executive creative director of FCB, is being promoted to chief creative officer of Draft FCB Chicago, and Yvonne Furth, president and CEO of Draft Chicago, is named chief operating officer of the new Chicago agency, which holds the top 10 largest clients including Boeing, Motorola and Kraft Foods.
Earlier this month, Peter DeNunzio was named as president of Draft FCB New York from Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, while Christoph Becker, previously chief creative officer of FCB New York, is being named the chief creative officer of the merged Draft FCB New York office.
Dana Maiman will remain the president of FCB Healthcare, which will be rebranded as Draft FCB Healthcare.
Draft said: "During the initial stage of our integration process, a strong and unified management team emerged. We and Interpublic are fully aligned on our vision, which is to create an innovative, creative, comprehensive communications company."
Boschetto said: "We believe integration is nothing more than a strategy that enables us to do what's best for our clients' business -- which means reaching consumers through the right channel at the right time in the most effective and efficient way to deliver results."
Outside the US, Draft FCB is creating a regional management structure, the leaders of which will report into Boschetto.
Pam Larrick, current chairman and CEO of FCBi, has been named chief digital, direct and CRM officer at Draft FCB. This division will become a global department within the main agency.
The merger between Interpublic Group agencies Draft and FCB was completed in June.
