Publicis Groupe rebrands CCG acquisition as Digitas Greater China

SHANGHAI - Publicis Groupe has acquired China-based independent interactive marketing network Communication Central Group (CCG), which will be rebranded Digitas Greater China, spearheading the Publicis Groupe network’s rollout in Asia.

The new Digitas Greater China operation will continue to handle CCG’s current list of clients, which includes Unilever, Bank of China, Intel and Nippon Paint among others, and will be headed up by current CCG founder and CEO Neil Runcieman as president and managing director, Digitas Greater China.

Maurice Levy (pictured), chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe, said: “Digitas’ expansion into China through the creation of Digitas Greater China will give our clients reach into the fast-growing Chinese market, while allowing Digitas to further develop its global presence.”

CCG provides a full-service offering, from creative design to technology integration, and boasts 200 staff in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
