Aegis Media's iProspect, the digital performance agency, has promoted Ben Wood, its UK and EMEA leader, to president of iProspect Global.
Wood replaces Rob Murray who has been with the agency network for 13 years and is leaving to join technology start-up.
Wood will be charged with growing the iProspect network of more than 240 digital specialists, and brands globally.
Wood became iProspect’s president of the UK & EMEA in April, having spearheaded the development of iProspect UK to a turnover of more than £150 million.
Wood will also be a member of Aegis Media’s Network Brand Board, which reports to Aegis Media’s Global Executive. The board drives leadership of the brand, product and client development for each of Aegis’s networks, including iProspect.
Wood said it was "a great privilege to take up the role" and lead what he believes to be "the best digital performance business in the world".
In another move, Misty Locke, global chief marketing officer of iProspect, has been appointed president of iProspect Americas, reporting to Nigel Morris and Wood.
Nigel Morris, chief executive of Aegis Media Americas and EMEA, thanked Murray for his "commitment and leadership" over the years and welcomed Wood, whose track record of delivering business growth he called "second to none".
Campaign has an interview with Ben Wood in this week's magazine.
