YouTube's most memorable videos and spoof ads

LONDON - As YouTube celebrates its fifth birthday, we celebrate some of its most popular videos.

Politians can't escape parody on YouTube with one of the most viewed political videos being Blair's rendition of 'Should I Stay or Should I Go?', which attracted over one million views

'Charlie bit my finger… again' is the most watched video on YouTube with 160.5 million views, although there has been some dispute on forums suggesting the video has been hacked to increase its viewer number.

We asked the BR Twitter followers for sugestions and Surprised Kitty was nominated as one of YouTube's biggest moments by @Billyralphie. The cute clip spread across the internet like wild fire and has so far had over 20 million views.

Evolution of dance by comedian Jud Laipply has notched up 137 million views since it was added in 2006 and continues to be one of the most popular videos on the site.

The spoof ads that show up on YouTube are sometimes better than the originals they were inspired by, here are a few of the most memorable:

A fan's spoof of the Cadbury’s eyebrows ad...

… and another spoof of its Gorilla ad.

There are pages of the Mac/PC ad spoofs but here's one of our favourites.

The Wii Fit also got the parody treatment – the result has been viewed more than five million times.

Finally, there are a few we couldn't embed, but they're worth watching.

TV comedy series The IT Crowd parodied the UK anti-piracy ads having a dig at the campaigns threatening tone.

Paris Hilton responds to a McCain political broadcast declaring she is ready to be President in a video that got 118,408 views.

Dear writer, Happy birthday to you tube website. All these selected videos from you tube are very fine.I have watched all these videos with full jolly mood. Especially, children video is really very nice. You tube website is getting popular day by day. Surely, they will get more revenue by advertisement,and more viewers in forthcoming months.
