Virgin Megastores turns to Neolane for CRM

by Daniel Farey-Jones, Brand Republic 14-Sep-06, 07:00

LONDON - Virgin Megastores has begun using Neolane's hosted CRM software to manage its customer data and direct marketing activity.

Neolane will handle the consolidation of customer data from different sources within the retailer's operations and keep it clean and complete.

Data will soon include electronic point-of-sale transactional data from users of the new student discount card the chain is launching this month.

The software also allows Virgin Megastores to run its on- and offline campaigns itself rather than outsource them.

Steve Kincaid, marketing director of Virgin Retail, said: "We have selected Neolane because we are confident it is a strong solution upon which we can develop a rich relationship with our most valuable customers, which recognises individual needs and interests."
