IAB completes strategic review and plan for European interactive association
LONDON - IAB Europe is launching a leadership council to help pan-European companies work together to evolve interactive marketing.
The new quarterly European leadership council will help agencies, media owners, advertisers and technology experts develop best practice in the sector.
It comes after the IAB completed a strategic review and plan for Europe's interactive marketing trade association, IAB Europe.

Designing new international standards and planning research projects will also come under the council's remit.
IAB Europe CEO Danny Meadows-Klue said that until now IAB Europe had simply been a support tool for the national IAB network, that was about to change.
"Online is the new pan-European advertising alternative and we're here to help brands learn how it can accelerate their marketing.
"Membership has not been open to companies directly, and that needs to change so we can support the unique needs of pan-European marketers. The next phase of digital marketing's growth is well under way," Meadows-Klue said.
IAB Europe president Layla Pavonesaid: "Digital, and all the media we include under its vast umbrella, is driving a revolution through new ways of communicating with consumers that completely change relationships with brands. IAB Europe is the association at the heart of this, supporting the entire digital and interactive marketing industry; sharing knowledge, best practice, research and opportunity."
