Eve helps women navigate cars market with new website
LONDON - Haymarket-owned Eve magazine is set to launch a dedicated female online car guide.
The glossy monthly will unveil evecars.com, a car-guide aimed at women looking for advice on buying a motor, in March.
The site will feature reviews written by women, and car information and statistics provided by fellow Haymarket title Whatcar.com which has 600,00 unique visitors each month, generating almost 10m page impressions.

Content will include a bluffer's guide for women buying cars, information on gadgets, driving events and finance deals.
The site also aims to present cars to suit different lifestyles. A top 50 section will present the best cars in different categories, such as the best type of 4x4 for speed freaks, or the best for budget buyers.
The site will let advertisers buy banners, skyscrapers and overlay formats, targeted key word inventory on review sites, as well as sponsorship and bespoke packages.
The move comes as Eve magazine has reported its seventh consecutive 8% rise in its circulation to sell an average 162,077 copies an issue, according to the ABC.
Sara Cremer, Eve editor, said: "Evecars.com will never bamboozle women with stats when they crave honest and upfront car reviews. It understands that not every user has technical knowledge and translates essential information into real-life speak."
