Modem Media wins place on global GSK roster
LONDON - Pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline is understood to have reappointed Modem Media to its UK NiQuitin CQ account and added the agency to its global roster.
Modem Media returns to work on GSK's stop smoking brand NiQuitin CQ after the client and agency stopped working together last autumn.
The agency will continue its previous remit to work across online advertising strategy and creative advertising, as well as search marketing campaigns.

A place on the global roster will involve digital work across all GSK's brands, which includes Aquafresh, Panadol and Sensodyne, plus the smoking control and dental care divisions.
The global digital advertising business is centrally managed by GSK Consumer Healthcare's recently formed business unit, The Futures Group, which is expecting to run up to four digital marketing projects in 2006.
Work will be commissioned from the US and the UK, and the roster is expected to consist of up to four agencies. Each brand will work with dedicated members of the Futures team to develop work across selected markets.
Neither GSK nor Modem Media were available for comment.
NiQuitin CQ has recently embarked on a customer relationship management campaign after it appointed Tullo Marshall Warren to handle its multimillion-pound direct business in a pitch against a number of undisclosed agencies.
