Bookie jumps on podcast bandwagon for World Cup
LONDON - Bookmaker William Hill is to launch daily podcast service in time for the start of the World Cup with commentary from the likes of former England footballer Rodney Marsh.
The podcasts, which will be available on the William Hill radio website at williamhillradio.com, will feature daily news and betting previews live from Germany throughout the tournament, as well as racing related previews and interviews.

Marsh, who now works for radio station TalkSport, heads a team of reporters playing a part on the podcasts who also include the Daily Mail betting expert and Radio Five Live pundit Derek McGovern.
Mike Grenham, head of sports information for William Hill, said: "We have been broadcasting live interviews for quite some time via our radio service but despite attempts to provide a service schedule that is listener friendly not everyone can tune in at the right time.
"Our free podcast service is in keeping with the save now, listen later phenomenon and will make all the interviews and betting views available to a much larger audience."
The podcast site was designed by digital shop Media On Demand.
