LONDON - Associated Northcliffe Digital has appointed Fish4's Sean Mahon as its marketing services director.

Mahon joins AN Digital from the regional classified site fish4.co.uk, which is co-owned by the regional newspapers groups Newsquest Media Group, Associated's Northcliffe, Trinity Mirror and Guardian Media Group Regional Newspapers, where he was marketing director.

He will be tasked with promoting and marketing the digital products using different media channels, working closely with the group's managers, editorial, marketing and sales teams.

Mahon said: "Now is a great time to join a business with such ambitious plans for the future. I'm really looking forward to helping grow the brands, site traffic and revenues."

His other duties include working across the newspaper companion online sites, including the Daily Mail and thisislondon.co.uk, as well as the network of 30 regional news and information sites falling under Associated Northcliffe's This Is brand.

Mark Milner, managing director of AN Digital Integrated Media, said: "Since we created AN Digital earlier this year, we've expanded rapidly and needed to create an overall marketing role for our companion sites. Sean's expertise and experience fit perfectly with the new role."

Associated Northcliffe Digital, the digital division of Associated Newspapers and Northcliffe Newspapers, attracts more than 7m unique users a month across more than 85 sites.
