Hachette Filipacchi recruits Killeen to lead digital
LONDON - Elle publisher Hachette Filipacchi has poached Dave Killeen, Associated Northcliffe Digital's general manager, as director of digital.
Killeen will head up Hachette Filipacchi's newly created digital publishing division, where he will take responsibility for online operations across eight of the publisher's titles, including Elle, Red, Psychologies, Sugar, Real Homes and All About Soap.

He joins from Associated's the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday websites, where he was general manager, and oversaw the two title's digital development.
Hachette has also hired Kat Vitou to be its head of business development and operations at the new digital operation.
Vitou, who will report directly to Killeen, joins from Emap, where she has been business development director and online publisher for the last two years. She has also held senior online positions at Granada and BSkyB.
Kevin Hand, chairman of Hachette Filipacchi, said: "The appointments of Dave and Kat underline Hachette's commitment to growing the business through digital expansion, which will be a major thrust for us in the coming year."
