Avon hunts shop for Mark launch
Avon is seeking a pan-European ad agency to create a campaign for the launch of its Mark beauty and make-up range for 18- to 24-year-old women.
Promotional activity will start at the end of this year in the UK; the
range will roll out across 19 European countries at the start of next
year.
The hunt for an agency will be overseen by Avon's brand marketing
ADVERTISEMENT
regional vice-president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Basia
Gozdzikowska.
Mark debuted in the US in 2003, as Avon sought to expand its customer
base beyond its core audience of older women.
The cosmetics firm, which awards contracts on a project basis, returned
to UK TV advertising in September 2004 after an absence of 40 years. Its
most recent UK advertising was created by Brave.
