RH Advertising snaps up South West marketing firm
LONDON - RH Advertising, the Exeter-based full service agency, has acquired marketing communications agency 3000AD, which will add incentives and sales promotion to the agency's services.
RH Advertising will increase in size by around 30% as part of the deal, and the agency will be provided with a second office in the South West in 3000AD's base in Swindon. Together, the combined firm will have billings of around £6m. The value of the deal was undisclosed.

The addition of the 3000AD team will add new specialist services such as sales promotion, incentives, packaging and point-of-sale to RH Advertising's main areas of advertising, media buying and planning and digital media.
Richard Marsh, RH managing director, said: "This is the first step in a new growth plan for the agency.
"The move heightens our commitment to serving clients in the region and boosts our position as the leading regional agency."
As part of the acquisition, 3000AD, which was set up seven years ago by managing director Tim Skett, will take on the RH Advertising brand. However, existing clients, which include IT and FMCG sectors, will continue to be served by the current team from the Swindon office. Skett will remain with the business as a member of RH Advertisings senior management team.
He said: "This is a great opportunity for us to be part of the larger marketing services business and help build the leading agency in the South West."
