LONDON - Harrods is to run a James Bond-inspired Christmas window campaign in time for the UK launch of 'Casino Royale', featuring product placement and paraphernalia from the film.

The Mohamed Al Fayed-owned department store will recreate a scene from 'Casino Royale' in all 72 of its windows. This will feature the new Aston Martin DBS, and costumes worn by Bond girls Eva Green and Caterina Murino.

Brands set to feature in the store frontage include Omega, La Perla lingerie, Sony, Bollinger, John Lobb shoes and Persol sunglasses, which all feature in the new movie.

The Brompton Road store will run the campaign from November 4 until Christmas Eve, and will host a 'Casino Royale' launch party to coincide with the UK premiere at Leicester Square on November 9.

Harrods previously ran a similar campaign to coincide with the 2002 launch of 'Die Another Day'.

'Casino Royale', which stars Daniel Craig, is the 21st in the franchise, and is based on author Ian Fleming's first James Bond novel of the same name. It was previously filmed as a spoof in 1967, starring Peter Sellers, David Niven, Orson Welles and Woody Allen.

Al Fayed said: "Harrods windows are seen by millions of people from all over the world and the brands featured during this exciting Bond initiative will enjoy exposure unrivalled in any store worldwide."
