What’s it about?

Julians session will look at defining what is meant by ‘engagement’, with great examples from the USA, Australia, the Far East and Europe, exploring how the emergence of this new effectiveness idea has opened up the brief to all comers.An open debate will follow discussing ‘what are the practical implications of making engagement happen on your brand?’, plus his six practical tips for creating an engagement campaign on your brand. 

About Julian

Julian was Chief Executive of Red Cell, London, Executive Planning Director of McCann Erickson and Planning Director of Ogilvy. Julian has built creditability working with clients including BBC, Audi, Unilever, lastminute.com, BA and BUPA and in 2007 he won ‘best in category’ at New Media Age awards for his work on Christian Aid’s online fund raising activity.In 2003 Julian founded The Joined Up Company, a brand, communications and training consultancy and is also a non-executive Director of :gt, one of the UK’s leading digital agencies, Revolution magazines agency of the year. Julian has published regularly and was editor of ‘The Communications Challenge, a practical guide to media neutral planning’, published in several languages around the world.
