‘Exploding Myths’ is a vital conference for anyone involved in graduate recruitment or graduate marketing strategy, that will explode the hype surrounding two of the latest trends in graduate recruitment:

MYTH ONE: ‘All employers must adapt their graduate recruitment practices to accommodate the needs of Generation Y’

MYTH TWO: ‘Social Media in recruitment is more hype than substance’

Our purpose is to stimulate debate and share solutions so that delegates will leave with fresh, practical ideas for tackling their particular recruitment problems.

Confirmed speakers include:

• Susan Hazledine – Graduate Recruitment Partner, Allen & Overy. Finding top talent in new universities

• Alex Hens – Head of Digital Strategy, ThirtyThree. Recruiting on the web: when is Web2 fit 2?

• Emily Kortlang – Head of Consumer Collection, Red Bull. Meet me or Facebook me?

• Anne-Marie Martin – Director, The Careers Group, University of London. Keynote Speech

• Dr Paul Redmond – Head of Careers & Employability Service, University of Liverpool. “Shift Happens!”: Generation Y and the New World of Work.
