Social Media ‘09 is a half-day conference & masterclass that will provide marketing, advertising, PR and corporate communications executives with the know-how necessary to develop, execute and manage a social media strategy that delivers value.

The event will run from 2pm til 6pm on the afternoon of the 12th November and be followed by a networking drinks reception.

In an afternoon packed with insightful and instructive case-studies delivered by social media specialists and clients at the helm of social media initiatives you’ll learn where to start, what to do, what works, what doesn’t, and what tools to use. Our aim is to make you social media savvy by sunset!

Unlike the one-way broadcast nature of traditional marketing, social media marketing is a series of ongoing ‘conversations’. Accordingly, the latter part of the afternoon deals with engagement and monitoring and how to use monitoring tools to track one’s brand and respond appropriately.
