Brand Manager of the Week: Lucy Green
Brand manager, Kimberly-Clark
Describe yourself in three words.
Passionate, musical and dedicated.
What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?
A musical theatre performer in the West End.
What attracted you to your current job?
Andrex is a true British heritage brand at the top of its game. Forward-thinking, commercially astute and dynamic - who wouldn't want to be part of that?
When was your finest hour?
Developing the groundbreaking strategy to relaunch my previous brand - one steeped in edgy heritage.
What's your greatest ambition?
To inspire and make a difference in people's lives.
What is your favourite ever marketing campaign?
I'm loving Lynx's 'Attract the chaos' at the moment.
Do you have a marketing mentor?
An old group brand manager was a true inspiration who taught me something new every day. He pushed the barriers and encouraged me to look at things differently.
What marketing trend is dominating your job at the moment?
Social media. We're working hard to understand how to effectively integrate it in our campaigns and how it can deliver strong ROI.
What hobbies do you have?
Netball, reading, music, discovering new things/places and spending time with my family.
If you weren't you, who would you be?
I wouldn't mind being Beyonce.
What makes you angry?
Litterbugs, liars and people using mobile phones while driving. Footballers' salaries don't fill me with joy either.
What is your favourite pub?
The Black Pig in Tunbridge Wells. Lush, locally sourced food, tranquil ambience and a lovely wine list.
What's your favourite holiday destination?
Vancouver, Canada.
What have been your best and worst freebies?
Best: a Tiffany necklace and Hunter wellies. Worst was an inflatable fruit case, although my nephew liked it.
