Omnicom-Publicis merger gains unconditional approval from EU

The $35.1bn (£21.5bn) merger of Omnicom and Publicis has received unconditional clearance from European Union regulators.

The merger would create the world's biggest advertising agency. The United States and several other countries have already nodded it through, but China is yet to issue its ruling.
