Account Executive (Car Dealer Relations Team) – Central London Agency – to £24k + benefits

Superb central London integrated agency seeks an Account Executive to work in a customer services related role.

You are an Account Executive who is capable of running a simple web-based creative system and who has an interest in marketing.

Please be advised that this Account Executive role isn’t really for someone who wants to get agency experience, or who wants to go into account handling.

Instead, the agency are looking for someone who can manage dealers and the role is similar to call centre type work.

Reporting to a Senior Account Director, your roles and responsibilities in this Account Executive role would be as below:

Principal Account Executive Role

1.     Answering dealer queries about the Dealer Marketing Centre website, marketing assets and programmes on the phone and via email.

2.     Traffic orders through to the studio being aware of any deadlines given by the publication.

3.     Making creative judgements and recommendations on dealer generated marketing materials for the purpose of brand and legal (e.g. CAP and VCA) compliance.

4.     Run weekly reports on asset usage and dealer compliance submissions to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail for the client.

5.     Maintain the dealer marketing website as and when needed – adding, updating and removing marketing assets.

6.     Support the other two members of the dealer marketing team in terms of workload and phone cover.

7.     Assist account team as instructed by line-manager

Scope of the Account Executive Role

1.     Liaise with client on a regular basis to discuss any issues

2.     Accompany the client on visits to dealers to discuss, understand and resolve any marketing issues the dealers may have

3.     Identifying dealer marketing opportunities for the team

The agency are looking for an ambitious Account Executive who understands the value of business/marketing in a recession and is (fairly) entrepreneurial. 

With sufficient experience, the agency envisage the position to encompass a more consultative role in addition to the administrative one, so successful Account Executive candidates should demonstrate the potential to advance and be prepared for some travel within the UK.
