This opportunity will provide the chance to work for an Internationally recognised marketing analytics consultancy, consulting into a range of clients including; retail, FMCG and financial services.

Head of Analytics role details:

The client is looking for a SAS based Marketing Analytics Manager, ideally with retail experience to lead a team of analysts, carry out hands on analysis using SAS and drive strategic direction to provide data driven solutions to clients from a range of industry sectors. This role will require you to lead a team of up to 10 SAS based analysts and you will be required to drive the function to deliver the highest quality data insights for clients. You will be working on customer, product or campaign driven data and you will be required to work in a hands on capacity for some of your role to ensure that the analysis and statistical modelling is generating insights for clients, which are accurate so that business-changing decisions can be based upon. This role will require you to be hands on with the analysis, you will also be responsible for liaising with the clients to help translate the analysis into meaningful insights, which can be used to help shape decisions on loyalty and leading customer contact strategies. This role is a crucial component to business performance because the company require consultants to be able to offer ideas and insights to help the business improve upsell and customer retention strategies. The ideal candidate for this position would be a candidate with proven experience of analytical consulting within a commercial environment and with experience of liaising with key stakeholders to improve business performance based on analysis produced by developing analytical teams. An understanding of analytical tools such as SAS, SPSS and SQL would be advantageous.

To apply for this role you will need the follow:

-It is essential that candidates are able to use SAS to an advanced degree for analysis, statistical modelling and generating insights.

-Candidates ideally should have a degree, Masters, PhD or an equivalent qualification in a numerate based subject, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research.

-You will need to be able to show experience of managing a team and driving direction for marketing strategy.

-You will need to be able to carry out analytical techniques to be able to generate insights to help shape decisions.
