The Senior User Experience Architect:
The Senior UE Architect will be responsible for all UE scoping and overseeing on one or more clients (dependent on the size of the account) as directed. They will proactively identify and drive forward user experience opportunities with these clients and support client teams in identifying new business opportunities as necessary. They will contribute to the written new business proposal and attend pitches as required.

The Senior User Experience Architect responsibilities:
Leading and managing all UE activities for one or more accounts.
Identify if, and at what point, usability testing should take place in order to generate the most valuable customer insights.
Responsible for synthesising multiple inputs into a single, easy-to-understand, customer-facing solution that meets the requirements of the delivery teams using their core UEA skills.
Proactive opportunity spotting and client development; providing thought leadership through application of innovative new techniques and opportunities.
Shaping projects and providing estimates for user experience time.
Responsible for representing the absent customer and ensuring that any piece of content or functionality developed meets the highest standards of usability.
Working on/running UE activities on complex, multiple work stream projects inc. managing multiple UE resources.
Main contact for all UE activity for several major clients.
Conduct regular team and individual meetings and provide feedback on team and individual performance on a regular basis.
Conduct company performance reviews, set SMART objectives and review regularly.
Highlight any performance issues early and manage these in a professional manner.
Ensuring that their UE direct reports & team resources are meeting utilisation targets and carrying out "housekeeping" tasks such as timesheet completion.
Line managing Associate User Experience Architects and User Experience Architects inc. annual appraisals, objective setting and career development support.
UE resource forecasting.

The Person:
Proven capability to lead large scale, multiple work-stream projects and effectively manage other UE resource within that.
Extensive information architecture/content strategy/user experience/usability experience for blue-chip clients.
Experience of working with standard IA and UCD tools and processes.
Solid understanding of Internet technologies.
Experience of Content Management Systems & eCommerce.
Knowledge of cross-platform development highly beneficial.
