Digital Account Manager (Planning) - Top 10 Media Agency - Brand/DR

The Role
The Digital Account Manager will be working on a retail and finance client portfolio and there will be an element of both branding and direct response activity within these accounts. The clients are both most definitely leaders in their respective fields, but the interest and challenges for these accounts comes from the challenging conditions in each of their markets. Whilst the current portfolio of work these clients are producing is direct response, in response to market conditions both clients will be dramatically increasing their spend in brand activity over the next 24 months. Team mentoring, development and managing workflows are crucial to this position. This is a digital planning role - the implementation and buying is handled by the specialist digital implementation teams across the different digital channels.

Your profile
You should have experience of working in online direct response planning in a media agency. Ideally you will already be a manager wanting to take your career to the next level on one of the agency's flag ship accounts, or an exceptional senior planner. Your background should be majority digitally focused however a cross-media background with a digital bias would be considered. You should have an excellent understanding of how online enhances and supports offline media. You should also understand how new trends within the online environment impact on the various accounts and where the audiences reside. E.g. how can we incorporate social networking and blogging within the clients' strategies and should we be considering this? You should be numerate, be able to demonstrate the ability to think creatively, and have excellent organisational skills. You should also demonstrate an understanding of interpreting research, i.e. competitor information and research regarding target audiences and how this fits within the role of online. In addition to this you must also be a competent client servicer, as well as having team management experience and you should be adept at presenting.

The Company
This is a leading digital media agency which constantly wins new business and has excellent staff retention. It is based in the heart of London. It has a great culture and it would suit an online specialist who is looking to be inspired within their next role.
