My client is the global leader in it's sector.  They have luxury and mass market brands steeped in history and synonimous with this sector. Their Global Head Office is in London.

Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager this role is responsible for the following:
1.Support the Global Marketing Director in the creation and execution of a global Marketing Plan. Prepare, agree and concurrently implement a number of specific allocated projects to optimum international appeal and within agreed timing and budgetary limits.
2.Co-ordinate activities and timescales of several internal company departments to meet project timings and objectives by diligent internal communications and by running and reporting on regular project meetings.
3.Take responsibility for the assortment, packaging, pricing and communication of the brand portfolio in alignment with the GMM.
4.Lead cross-functional project-team for N/EPD, cost-saving or quality improvement projects.
5.Brief, manage, control and proof check the design, compilation and multi-lingual translation of all product related printed matter including packaging, promotional materials and consumer/technical literature. Ensure these meet with all international legal standards and Brand Identity Guidelines.
6.Support in the financial management of the brand to ensure brand decisions are made in the context of the P&L.
7.Be an authority on status of specific product categories, maintaining awareness of trade and consumer needs through liaison with markets, customers, utilisation of market research and other consumer information.
8.Take a proactive approach to brand management – focusing on the target group of consumers. Collect and disseminate best practice for profitable Marketing activities in the consumer groups.
9.Take a proactive approach to communication and relationship with the local Marketing teams.

Candidate requirements:1.Educated to Degree level or equivalent
2.Demonstrated practical Marketing experience in the following areas:•A manufacturing environment.
•A strong commercial environment
•A cross-functional matrix management structure.
•A multi market environment.

3.Strong NPD background
4.2 to 4 years Product Management experience.
5.PC (particularly Excel spreadsheets) and Internet literate. Knowledge in Adobe Design Software is desirable
6.A foreign language.
